Puzzle Time If the man shot himself he would not have been able to stop the recording. The police would have had to rewind the tape to the correct place in order to hear the recording if they only pressed 'play'. So somebody rewound the tape, that somebody is the killer.

Puzzle - If the recording was already rewound to the beginning and the gunshot was heard, the dead guy could not have killed himself.
