Using "trash" to make art is nothing new, but today, due to online reading, much of the trash consist of books.

Here are two examples of artists who work primarily in this new medium.

But the artists I most identify with are public. They put their art out there for anybody and everybody to critique. Dearest to my heart are the ones that just give it away. Here are several examples. That last one is interesting. I can imagine some of you waking up one morning, looking out the window, seeing this, and your first thought being what it will do to property values. Pity.

As to the question: Why would he do such a thing?
