My brother - the professional bass fisherman - fished constantly. He told me that bass will find a spot in the lake that provides a steady supply of food and stay there more or less forever. And fishermen know where the fish are biting and revisit the site over and over again. Therefore, my brother deduced, that he has caught the same fish over and over again. Then I started thinking that the fish thinks being snagged and yanked out of the water temporarily is just part of life and must assume that every fish experiences the same thing.
If cats came from lions why are there still lions? If dogs came from wolves...
That is the best logic the anti-science can muster.
A Bolivian woman was recently arrested for throwing hot water on her sleeping husband’s genitals because he was allegedly dreaming of another woman. The shocking incident happened last week in the Bolivian city of La Paz. I got stung on my little toe and the pain was intense. I kept thinking it was because my little toe didn't have enough skin to expand as much as it required.
Somehow Americans loathe differentness. We seem to work very hard to look, think, dance, eat, etc, just like everybody else.
But Americans are not alone in this malady. Russians also demand uniformity.
I took my daughters to a AAA baseball game on Snoz Night where they gave every single person a pair of those silly glasses.
At one point they stopped the game and a young woman with a megaphone told us all to don the glasses. Apparently, it was a photo shoot for a TV commercial, and cameras were positioned all around the infield. But what impressed me was the way that young woman took command to insure EVERYBODY put on their glasses. She would point out each and every attendee without glasses and strongly insist that they comply. She was a sight to behold.
It's like the pea soup projectile vomiting in The Exorcist - expecting it to happen again at any moment.
Before you play hard to get make sure you are not hard to want.

I'm all for the government loaning students money to go to college. I don't understand the need for interest. I've read numerous articles how some students have been making payments for years and still owing more money than when they started making payments.
That being said, 100% loan forgiveness won't happen. That guaranteed interest is a major part of Wall Street portfolios and those folks aren't giving that up.
Full disclosure here. I did go to college. Had a small student loan for my sophomore year. Graduated with a four year degree and paid it off within a year. That was long ago when it was possible to do that.
I did well enough that when my daughter graduated college I paid off her student loans as a graduation present.
