About Me

My photo
I'm an artist, educator, militant anti-theist , and I write. I gamble on just about anything. And I like beer...but I love my wife. This blog contains observations from a funny old man who gets pissed off every once in a while.

 One Of My Very Own

PART ONE

^^A1^^

When my wife and I read that the last drive-in theater in our area was closing, we decided to pay it one more visit. We were in a very big pickup so I could easily look down into the neighboring car and as I did I saw a young woman vigorously riding a young man very similar to the pose in the photo above. And as I gawked she made eye contact with me and never...missed...a...stroke.

As I recall during the practice round many players try that shot.

I want to meet the guy who wrote the insurance policy on that.

I almost missed it - watch carefully...

I've always been fascinated by the similarity between cities and road, neural networks, and galaxy clusters arrangement.

PART THREE

Those feet tell you everything you need to know.

Way overdue, Chuck.

I read that the basic difference between conservatives and liberals is that one values exclusion and one values inclusion. I've thought about that a lot and here are my thoughts.

Each conservative person has made choices in their life about how to live their lives and for some reason, they think that every single one of these decisions is the proper way to live. For example, if they are clean-shaven then they judge bearded people as wrong. If they have a natural hair color then anyone with dyed hair is wrong. The list is almost endless: men with earrings, piercings, tattoos, dreadlocks, etc, etc. I had one conservative lament to me that nobody polishes their shoes anymore. This man polishes his shoes by choice and honestly thinks that people who choose not to are wrong. And they never say things like, "I don't think your blog is funny" but rather state: "Your blog is not funny." See the difference? It tells me that they consider themselves and their opinions and decisions to be right and all others to be wrong. I feel very sorry for people like that - they must be miserable.

But those things just make those people annoying but it doesn't stop there. Many times other more dangerous factors are used to separate their right "us" from their wrong "them". Things like country of origin, skin color, religion, sexual preferences, etc. And declaring these "others" wrong creates much of the hatred we see in the world.

Puzzle time: 1 day plus 3 hours plus 3 hours -armando

Puzzle time 5 and 15 in the first and second box.

the third box would be using the parenthesis brackets “(“ and “)” as the instruction clearly mentions using the following stuff - that included usage of the parentheses along with the numbers ( clearly they didn’t mention “only” using the numbers ).
