I have known so many women who have been abused...both as children and adults. What kind of man thinks that abusing weaker humans is a good thing? I have only known one man who I KNEW abused weaker women and I was not allowed to react as I wanted to react by the abused weaker party. I never have gotten my head around that. But I have since vowed that I would never cede my power to punish such a wrongdoer...no matter what it cost me.

There are people who love to throw this shit around from time to time...

But it isn't true. As soon as you enter the suspension of natural laws (miracles) then the scientists hit the door...or should hit the door; especially with no evidence whatsoever.

And I have never heard a true scientist who believed that women were first created from a rib of a man...because the man got bored. Give me a break.

And what baffles me is that religion loses every single time...they just slow down progress for a while...a very short time...

But eventually facts win...it's like a rule.

Then there's this: I posted a quote from the bible about people eating their own children and dared someone to explain it to me. Well, someone did.

Lev. 26:29 is a prophetic judgment against Israel if they turn away from the Lord. It is not a "command" from God for Israel to eat their kids! If they turn away from God then God will turn away from them and cease blessing them and the end result will be famine so severe that the people will resort to eating their own children. This prophecy actually comes true in 2 Kings 6:29, as a consequence of the people of Israel turning from God.

Now I'm not a smart man, but I am pretty certain that the Jews in Israel today don't give a shit about Jesus and they are not eating their young. And Kings 6:29 was of a single event of a single child.

I watched a documentary about the refueling aircraft, and it said that this is not as easy as it seems. Precautions are taken to come in for fuel while they still have enough fuel left to get back home...just in case they can't hook up.

Anything you do to help the guards is rewarded with food. Children rat out their parents for a piece of potato. And more surprisingly, parents tell on their own children if they even hint at being dissatisfied.

Prison-phone companies, and the prison-wire-transfer companies that are following their model, extract revenues directly from inmates and their families. (Fifteen dollars for a fifteen-minute phone call is not uncommon.)

The profits generated by the corrections economy have not been definitively calculated, and a comprehensive audit would be a staggering accounting task. The figure would have to include the cost of private-prison real estate, mandatory drug testing, electronic monitoring anklets, prison-factory labor, prison-farm labor, prison-phone contracts, and the service fees charged to prisoners’ families when they wire money for supplies from the prison commissary. Contracted commercial activity flows in and out of every city jail, rural prison, suburban probation office, and immigration detention center. For stakeholders in the largest peacetime carceral apparatus in the history of the world, the opportunities for profit add up.

You ever heard of rouge waves?

They are the huge waves that just appear in the middle of the ocean. Many ships have been lost due to them. And I have a theory.
