Further, they don't believe that wearing a mask is an effective mitigation against an airborne virus yet believes that an unproven medication espoused by a reality show host will cure it.
Conspiracy theorists are a pitiful lot. They hear an idea like this one...
And conclude a vast conspiracy by the science professionals to keep the cure secret. Wow.
Then there are those who mistakenly think God will protect them.
I have often asked what your family doctor advises about going to bars, wearing masks, and the like. And if you haven't bothered to ask them then you are the biggest fool of all.
Many people are confused about what exactly disinformation is. So, here's an example:

I will agree with you that most news sources are rabidly anti-Trump.
But that doesn't mean they lie. This is the liar and they dare to point them out.
And his lies have killed thousands of his faithful.
So, let me ask you a question: Do you think this pandemic affects virtually nobody? Do you?!

They think we have all lost our collective minds. They look upon completely irresponsible Trump rallies with horror.
