Whale Watching Museum to be opened in Norway in 2023
The Whale is a building that will appear on the Norwegian coast and is designed by Copenhagen-based firm Dorte Mandrup.
It’s designed in such a way as to look like it’s rising from the landscape. At the core of the philosophy is the idea of minimally-invasive design.
It takes about one hour by boat, from Andenes, to reach the best whale watching spot offshore. There is an underwater canyon stretching towards the land, The Bleik Canyon, and this is the feeding area of male sperm whales that feed here all year round. In other words, Andenes is one of the few places in the world that can offer whale watching year-round.
We can also encounter orcas, humpback whales, fin whales, pilot whales, and even dolphins. Sometimes, orcas come so close to shore that it is possible to see them from land and from The Whale. But to get close to the large whales, one needs to join a whale safari.
The roof of the whale will encourage the growth of moss to help it better blend into the landscape.

A Mongolian woman reaches out from the porthole of a crate in which she is imprisoned, 1913.
This photo was taken in July 1913 by French photographer Albert Kahn. Albert Kahn was a millionaire banker who pioneered color photography using the process invented by the Lumière brothers. During his trip through exotic countries, Albert Kahn visited Mongolia where he took this picture of a woman who was condemned to slow and painful starvation by being deposited in a remote desert inside a wooden crate that was to become her tomb. Initially, the bowls on the ground had water in it, though was not intentionally refilled, and the person inside was allowed to beg for food which often just prolonged their suffering as they generally didn’t get enough food from the passersby. The photographer had to leave her in the box because it would be against a prime directive of anthropologists to intervene in another culture's law and order system.

Just think about this. The people at the press conferences were gasping and decrying the lack of integrity by the Democrats for doing such a stunt. They were TOTALLY accepting of this outlandish story. Think about those sorts of people, and what has happened to them to actually accept such a story at face value. I am almost beyond words.

I commend you on your talent. I can rarely solve word puzzles such as these.
I actually experience anxiety trying to do so.
You do realize this is voluntary, right?
