About Me

My photo
I'm an artist, educator, militant anti-theist , and I write. I gamble on just about anything. And I like beer...but I love my wife. This blog contains observations from a funny old man who gets pissed off every once in a while.

PEOPLE

How the world picture Americans...

^^A1^^

They learn so early.

Why you shouldn't show off when food is involved...

Especially if you are being filmed.

That thing must weigh a ton.

When my daughter asked for a pony for Christmas...

^^A17^^

I used to love embarrassing my daughters also.

^^A18^^

Un-fucking-believable.

^^A19^^

I never really thought about the seat belts not being as effective for the passenger on the left.

^^A20^^

A man once told me that homosexual sex was an abomination because the whole purpose of sex was procreation. I laughed and reminded him of the socks he had jacked off in as a teenager, his cumming in on his wife's titties, his wife swallowing after he came in her mouth, etc.

After extensive sampling, I've determined that it's 99% certain that anyone who uses "woke" as a pejorative will turn out to be an asshole. Please do not blame me for pointing this out. It's just science.

People aren't going hungry because we can not feed the poor. People are going hungry because we cannot satisfy the rich.

PLACES

I seem to remember that that is a well.

^^B1^^

Aren't those called "sprites"?

^^B2^^

Probably the only level ground for miles.

^^B3^^

^^B4^^

^^B5^^

 ^^B6^^

I watched a documentary on how they make artificial islands. After the sand is pumped in from far asea they use vigrators to bring water to the surface where it is then scraped back into the ocean.

^^B7^^

Actually, that would help me.

^^B8^^

The rules probably state that the sidewalk has to be 3' from any obstacle.

^^B9^^

^^B10^^

I almost had this figured out.

A man is sitting in his car.

It snows.

Then he backs out and leaves.

Another car backs into the space.

Another person walks to the car.

But alas, there are no exit tire tracks.

^^B11^^

My wife and I decided that we were snacking too much so she didn't buy any snacks. And now here I live in a fetal position snackless. Alas.

THINGS

It must be that wooden stick-on crap but mitered so well that his no joint line at the corner. Or something else I haven't thought of.

^^C1^^

^^C2^^

Years ago I read that it costs too much to ship those containers back to the country of origin and tons of them were just stacked. There was a lot of talk of using them for buildings but that never took off as much as I had hoped.

^^C3^^

^^C4^^

"No."

^^C5^^

We've all come home drunk not wanting to wake the wife.

^^C6^^

Is that 3-D or is it just a nice illusion?

^^C7^^

A massive pump?

^^C8^^

Well, I see your problem right there...

^^C9^^

It looks like it has graph rings every two or so feet.

^^C10^^

Do they make pants like that?

^^C11^^

^^C12^^

Puzzle

I've never seen this done with that many pieces.

^^C13^^

<>

Why don't they just make Tupperware spaghetti colored right there in the factory?

<>
<>

I asked my doctor about giving my body to science and she laughed aloud for several long minutes.

CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL

^^D1^^

^^D2^^

^^D3^^

^^D4^^

One of the problems with living in Alaska...

In case you missed it.

^^D5^^

I saw that and I got to thinking about non-traditional pets. I hear they can be trained just as well as the smartest dog.

I saw pictures of many people with one of these.

I have mixed feelings about breeding them to be small enough just to satisfy human needs.

Although they look as cute as any dog.

I'm totally against keeping any sort of endangered species and I think some parrots are.

Of course, all bets are off if the animal was an orphan with no hope of survival in the wild.

---

I'm very interested to know if you have or have had exotic pets and if there were any problems you would like to share. Photos would be great but you will have to email them. I promise not to use your address for anything whatsoever. Thanks.

^^D6^^

B11: if you can't figure that out then I have no hope for you.

It is as simple as it gets.

Driver parks up and leaves car. It snows. Driver walks back to car and reverses out of space and drives off.

Dear Car in Snow Problem People, If the guy drives into the spot, leaves, then it snows how are there two sets of tracks in the snow?

There is one set of tracks for each axle. Keep in mind that the front wheels travel in a greater arc than the rear wheels when turned.
Once the car is traveling in a straight line, you will observe what appears to be one set of tracks. But the rear axle is tracking exactly on top of the front axle when going in a straight line.

Hope that helps

@ralph
Front wheels are steering and the tires have different turning radii

Inchworm said...

B11 when he backs up, he turns the steering wheel to turn the car. The wheels do not follow the same path. That is why there are 'two sets' of tracks: one for the rear wheels, one for the front wheels. Simple.
