My doctor told me that as people age they tend to drink less because they can't handle the hangovers. Probably true, but I would add they don't have the discretionary funds to afford the booze plus, as with me, I swore to my hip replacement surgeon that I would never fall down again, and with age, I get more and more unsteady and alcohol makes it worse.
I think that in large cities they should organize camping trips to abandoned factories and such.
