STAR DOLLAR SHRINE
I made this from start to finish in one afternoon.
I'm rather proud of it.
Notice how all of the faces are pointed outward.
I bought the star in a gas station for 50ยข in Texas during a road trip decades ago. I just knew I would find the perfect use for it. And when I knew it belonged on this shrine I walked straight to the drawer where I had placed it all those years ago. I was rather proud of that.
When I look at it just right...
It reminds me of one of my favorite things in the whole world.
The removable lid nestles down snuggly on the top of the tubes.
<>SPEAKING OF CASH
I need your opinion on cashless societies. I don't have a dog in this fight but I have thought about it and need some clarifications.
- People like me could still barter to beat the taxes but most people could not.
- Muggings would probably disappear.
- There would be no cash to steal in armed robberies.
- Can we assume all illegal activity like drug deals would end?
- Might it be advantageous to have your photo on your debit cards in case they are stolen?
---
I would appreciate your thoughts on this matter. I seem to remember that Sweden was thinking of going cashless. Anyway, give it some thought.

As an adult, you realize some people really know what they are doing but there are other people whose whole job is stopping them.
PONDERABLES
Welsh woman washing her mine-working husband in 1931.
What must his lungs look like?
And people say the mine owner deserves all the money because he took all the risks.
Her dad told her, "If you marry that man you will never set foot in this house again." Mary soon learned that most people felt the same way. Last year they celebrated their 70th anniversary and they are still very much in love with zero regrets."
You can't imagine how proud I am that both my wife and my families have mixed raced babies in them.

And it sickens me that the first time the three Ethiopian children my niece adopted ever heard the word "nigger" was taking a walk in their own neighborhood.
Am I wrong in thinking anyone working full-time in America deserves enough pay for a place to live and food to eat?
If you can't afford to pay your workers a living wage then it's your business model that is at fault - not the workers.
Foreplay starts as soon as you wake up and it lasts all day.
*I never tell people that I had heard their joke. Why deny them that little joy when it costs me nothing? And sometimes the joke morphs into something funnier.
I wish there was a service where I contact a company, tell them my problem or desired changes, and they just do it for me right through the ether.
That's actually a good way to exhaust it.

Not all Republicans - just the rapid right. I actually miss the Republican Party I used to vote for.
Woke people don't hate their country. They just know that it has some problems and try to make it "a more perfect union" just like we are supposed to.
I hate it when that happens.
This is how we feel when my wife and I finish a project without getting divorced.

"Crazy how little Russia has changed. Shelling everything and conquering the ruins was their main strategy in WW1, then again in WW2, how they fought Afghanistan for a while, and how they fought the Chechens."
"Russians are the WORST neighbors. Just ask Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Mongolia, Norway, Poland, and Ukraine."

CASHLESS; Here in England it's well advanced. Governments will be able to:
1-Track every move you make;the end of such personal liberty...
2-Forbid you from buying anything they want..."too much fat in that", "sorry you have used enough gas this month"...."We have noticed that your calorie intake is excessive this month so we are limiting your purchases at this time" .Who to complain to? It's a machine-you can't complain, it's logical, and ITS IN YOUR OWN INTEREST;
3-Tax at any level without conflict or opposition; is tax at 36%? Well we will make it 43% and there's nothing you can do about it.
4-Inflation? We will restrict transactions and slow down its movement.
5-Travel? "Sorry, we don't want you to go there at this time, perhaps you could try again tomorrow"..
Altogether it is the most monstrous assault on freedom possible to imagine, all carried out with no debate or consultation Fight for your freedom as it really is at stake here.An alien race with no feeling except for government efficiency might impose this, but not any government which cares about personal freedom.
C12 - Education does not equal intelligence. It just means they've been programmed to think how they were trained
Dear C12 Anon,
So, you are telling my viewers that a high school graduate is just as intelligent as a Ph.D. because the Ph.D. is limited in their thinking by what they were taught in school? So, in your opinion, how does one go about becoming intelligent. Please be specific.
RH
Intelligence
My dad does not have anything more than a high school education but is one of the best problem-solvers I know. And he has done very well in his career.
I would argue that intelligence is innate...tests can be given to children to determine their problem solving ability and capacity to rationalize a conclusion. Do children have PhDs? No.
I think you are mistaking "being educated" vs "intelligence".
C12: I am not the original commenter on C12, but I do have an opinion about this conversation.
Intelligence and education are mutually exclusive. I can have an uneducated 20-year-old who's more intelligent than a PhD. However, the 20-year-old will never be able to function at the level that a PhD can due to the lack of knowledge; he has nothing to which to apply his intelligence.
With that said, the 20-year-old might surround himself with intelligent, educated people to support, promote, and execute his ideas. Nevertheless, he is still uneducated.
Dear Viewers,
I am going to address this in a future blog. Stay tuned.
