THe same applies to other countries with high per capita gun ownership. If guns were the problem as we hear often then surely pure logic dictates that that gun crime should be porportional to the amount of guns, this is however not the case. The US has gone crazy, it wasn't always like this, school shootings etc are a relatively new phenomena and it was way easier to buy a gun in the old days.
