That reminded me of a documentary I watched.
I learned two new things about the Yucatan asteroid that killed the dinosaurs. It was so big that it punched a huge hole in the atmosphere, allowing tons of ejected material to be thrown into space without resistance. Then the shock wave in the Earth's crust was so severe that standing large dinosaurs in what is now the US would have had their leg bones driven up through their body.
Indeed.
Dick said that for decades he was an alcoholic but he only drank when the day's work was over. He got blackout drunk every night. That means that many of the scenes like the one above were done with him having a hangover.
I think Jesus got that one right.
I read that birthrates have more or less stabilized. The population growth is mostly caused by people living longer.

It also had your address, my number was always unlisted.
People always complained about their privacy (they still do) but now they have devices in their homes that listens to every word they say and people are happy to have them.

C4: Growing up my parents had another phone line installed and it was listed in the phone book as "teenagers" under their name.....you can imagine what some of the calls were like....
