I was checking your old posts and I really like them! I feel you have kind of the same sense of humor I have (which is rare and good). This images from my country may look bad but this activity actually helps the turtles. When they come to lay eggs they do it in "waves". If the eggs are left on the beach, the turtles coming after the first waves will destroy them when looking for a spot to lay their own eggs and this contaminates the sand. No new born turtle can survive that, or at least very few. The people living near the beach benefit from selling the eggs and the turtles have a better chance to survive.
