About Me

My photo
I'm an artist, educator, militant anti-theist , and I write. I gamble on just about anything. And I like beer...but I love my wife. This blog contains observations from a funny old man who gets pissed off every once in a while.

I read an account of a mother in Cairo who went to the square with two items: The photo of her son who had died in the struggle, and a funeral shroud that she said was for her remaining son who she would gladly sacrifice for freedom.
Powerful that.

And now some random images from or about Egypt...

A statue of King Tut is missing from the Cairo Museum.

These cute little girls live in Afghanistan..

So does this one who dared to go to school...

And now for the most insane image from Iraq...
