I had a friend who had a big snake like this. I watched as he dropped to mice in the cage and the snake ate one right away. The other ran around and did shit like this until the snake once again got hungry, then...well, you know.
I wrote a short story about the experience.

When I was in high school, the government conducted experiments on my hometown. Three times a day a plane would fly over and break the sound barrier, resulting in a very loud sonic boom. They checked sleep patterns, diet change, medical records, etc, etc, etc of the citizens.
They also checked milk output in cows, eggs for chickens, etc, etc. Also they had dozens of sensors set up in house and office building to determine damage.
