Make of this post what you will. It's all I can pull together on game day.

I kind of believe that, especially about people's fear of oblivion.

But have you noticed that the preacher never says, "Yeah, he was a sinner and will surely go to hell." Even though most people fit the bill.

We act like frightened sheep...

Or goats or whatever.

Dying and returning my atoms to the universe really isn't all that terrifying.

Don't just believe something because your family has always thought it true. There are so many rational views to examine.

I really do understand how this father finds comfort in thinking his child will be made whole in the afterlife...

But it never occurs to him to ask why an all merciful god would condemn an innocent child to a wheelchair in the first place.
So instead of putting your loved one through the groutesqueness of embalming, why not cremation and this idea...

By the way, have you ever heard what goes on in the funeral home in the back room?
