A book called Ismael. 

Ismael is a book written by Daniel Quinn. It's the first book I've read in thirty years...I prefer to listen while someone else does the reading. I would strongly suggest that you read this book.

When people ask me what it's about, I tell them it's about a telepathic gorilla, which is true. But the things that gorilla has to say really affected me.

At the end he (the author) gives his address and asks the public to drop him a line and let him know what they thought of his work. When was the last time you saw an author do that?
