ONE HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT

I ran across that silliness and it got me to thinking. Those graphics could get you killed in North Korea.
That some people think they have the right to murder when they feel insulted by mere images is difficult for any freedom-minded people to get their head around.
Looking back on this insanity leaves a very bitter taste in my life:

The people may not have been afraid, but the spineless news media was scared shitless.

I was so very disappointed that every magazine and newspaper in the world didn't reproduce this offending image - not to insult, but to show what silliness had caused the carnage.

Oh, there were many cartoons, but none of them included an image of the prophet.

The world's media simply ceded their freedom to the crazies, and it still makes me bitter.

I've discussed this before, but humor has been excused from proper decorum for a long time. But that seems to be coming to an end.

Now if any person or group is offended, then the whiner's side is taken almost every time. I believe that we are not born with a right to not be offended, but we are born with a right to speak your mind, whether it offends or not.
It's called being a grown-up, folks - look it up.

Deer on the highway are so dangerous because of their height. Being hit by a car sends the adult deer's body right through the windshield - which is very bad.

I watched a Major League Baseball game in which the first baseman's foot was pulled off the base twice rendering the runner safe.

I suggested that all first basemen wear clown shoes allowing him to stretch much farther.

My jury is still out on the need for a daily shower. There are many jobs that require it, but most people go from an airconditioned house to an airconditioned office then return - never even sweating for weeks if not months.

Provocative, to me, means that it provokes thought. I like to write little narratives in my mind for interesting images like this one.

A poor Romanian farmer would walk his three children to the road in order to catch the school bus, but grew tired of having to stand in the rain. So he built a humbled roofed structure and the children never even thanked him. That's why he went out for a pack of smokes one day and never returned. Alas.

Today I transferred all my stuff from my old worn out vest to a newer vest I found in my studio.
