About Me

My photo
I'm an artist, educator, militant anti-theist , and I write. I gamble on just about anything. And I like beer...but I love my wife. This blog contains observations from a funny old man who gets pissed off every once in a while.

A comment left on the site:
"Manufacturing stuff causes pollution. This is like saying "Cars in the city cause pollution! Drive in the country instead!"
No, we manufacture the same products with cleaner energy.

A 150' across trailing ribbon of conjoined tentacled clones sweeping the ocean off the coast of Australia. Known in some regions as the "long stringy stingy thingy", siphonophores blur the line between organ and organism. They somehow manage to be both at once.

Extreme weather and atmospheric conditions have led to a far greater depletion than normal,

I love how Satanic Cults always speak in Latin as if Satan had been around for billions of years, encountered the Romans, and then thought Yeah I'm writing all my contracts with these words.

SMILE INDUCERS...HOPEFULLY

Wait for the stimulus checks to start rolling in.

Ask her what the fuck she did to piss him off.
No seriously, with her being cremated and all I would like to know exactly how he managed to do that.

 From his navy days...
He looks like the evil German U-Boat captain.
Does anybody else see the resemblance with Kelsey Grammer?

Some of Y'all never read 100 books to get a personal pan pizza and it shows.

AND AWRY WE GO

Why dads aren't allowed to help...

^^C1^^

From the gathered crowd I take that as some sort of competition.
^^C2^^

That gets funnier every time I look at it.

Just because I chose not to drink anymore doesn't automatically make me no fun. That was a separate choice which I've also made.

DISCUSSION POINTS

These fucking retards...
 And...

^^D1^^

^^D2^^

^^D3^^

This is what it takes to feed the world.
If we lose one component - gasoline, power, trucking, etc. - we are going to starve. But it's a prolonged drought in the corn and wheat belts that keep me awake at night.
^^D5^^

The WHO has some explaining to do also.
^^D6^^

I took a public speaking class and we did something similar. But we marked every "filler" like "er", "um", and "uh". Now people are quite fond of filling in every pause in their dialogue with "like" and "you know". I leave every pause as a sign that I care about explaining clearly that I take the time to choose the perfect word.
^^D7^^

Isn't that the foundation of most religions?
^^D8^^

If he can do it why would any governor not do it?

The hole in a guitar is traditionally used to store soft cheeses and dried meats which are fed to the drummer when he does a good job.

THAT WHICH IS SELDOM SEEN

"Come on it, boys, the water's fine."

There was a theory that D.B. Cooper would have been torn to pieces by the turbulence behind the airplane. That belies that theory.
^^E1^^

Why some people hoard toilet paper.
^^E2^^

I had one of those to mount panels. We had to pass a multiple choice OSHA test before we could buy it. The owner of the store gave us the test and said, "A, C, B, A, C, C. Okay, all done.
You use holeless washers with that gun and the store sold them for 7¢ a piece. We stopped by a bank on our way back to the site and bought a few rolls of pennies...1¢ each.

Then this is all you got.
No one ever figured out why the Indian Chief was on there.

^^E7^^

That's amazing.

Gravel River

I'm assuming the gravel is being borne on a layer of water, but I'm not sure.
^^E10^^

How cute...

HOLY SHIT!

sounds horrible but the comparison is not really valid: China has almost twice the inhabitants of USA and EU combined. Per capita the CO2 emission is more than 50% higher in US and EU.

Puzzle - 25
House is worth (5) Sign (4) Key (1) 4+1x5=25

Anonymous said...

It's 14

Puzzle:
multiplication has precedence over addition
2 keys=2, 1 key = 1
4 + (1 x 5) = 9

Anonymous said...

Puzzle time: 30 and 14? Lets break this down. 15÷3 =5. So a house = 5.
5+2X=13. So 2x=8. X=4. So a Sold Sign =4.
4+2X=8. 2x=4. X=2. So a pair of keys=2.

We are presented with:
Sold sign + 1/2pair of keys + a house

Just sayin

You’re right, 9 makes most sense according to Pemdas
