I find it funny that Americans call it military time and battle with it.
Over here we use the 24hr clock for everything, dunno when last I saw am/pm being used.

There's a lot of things that Americans do differently than the rest of the world.
For instance, we're also one of two countries who still haven't moved to the metric system. We also allow people to go bankrupt and lose everything they have if they happen to have a severe medical condition.
