For you people who don't know my wife, let me tell you a little story that may help you understand why I find her so....indispensable.

While in the voting booth today she called the poll watcher over and whispered, "I've just seen Joe Wilson's name on the ballot and I think I'm going to puke and I just wanted to know if you have something to clean it up with."

The poll watcher laughed, but covered her mouth with her hand to do so.

WARS....WHAT ARE THEY GOOD FOR?

I have come across some compelling images of war lately, and if you will allow me, I will share them with you.

World War II 

I didn't know they had cards like these...Ha...

I thought George Bush just made that shit up.

Neither did I know the Germans used civilian structures as cover.

These are the British. They knew how to wage war.

Then WWII was won and there was an epic struggle to turn the world Communist.

When I was growing up we lived in fear of this every fucking day.

But the government prepared us well....

Then Vietnam....which we lost...

Every North Vietnamese fought the war on the home front...

This leaflet warns the population NOT to fire at helicopters...

Americans "fought" the war a whole nother way...

In my opinion, "Apocalypse Now" is the greatest war movie ever made.

Then, as if without warning, we won the Cold War by simply outspending the enemy.

Then 9/11....

We were hell bent on kicking somebody's ass, but we may have made a mistake or two...

There were some good things that happened...

But at what costs to us?

And at what cost to them?

And now, just so you know...

(and those numbers are very old)
