SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

I watched about half this movie then gave up on it. Then I read this and went back an watched the whole thing.

This of the illustration of the experiment they conducted to prove the Earth was flat.

Of course the panels, camera and light source were separated much more than that, but they carefully measured 17' above the surface of a lake and placed all the components of the test at that level. If the Earth was curved then the light could not reach the camera, which, of course, was exactly what happened.
There were several real scientists in the film. Here's what one of them said.

That's what I've always said about the AMA and the anti-vaxxers.

The movie had many discussions about the members of the flat earth club and basically, it was concluded that they really like being around like-minded individuals and they feel a part of something; a member of a club if you will. That reminds me of something else.

In my opinion, if you believe a woman was made from the first man's rib, then you are no less delusional than flat-earthers.
