About Me

My photo
I'm an artist, educator, militant anti-theist , and I write. I gamble on just about anything. And I like beer...but I love my wife. This blog contains observations from a funny old man who gets pissed off every once in a while.

 ABERRANT BEHAVIOR

We haven't seen a case of the devil traffic gate in a while. Just another example of a lack of situational awareness.
^^1^^

A guy came home to find his roomba like this.
Don't think robots are taking over any time soon.
It wound up a whole roll of paper towels.
^^2^^

Village's Got Talent
We call that being highly motivated.
I thought her scarf was her neck.

^^4^^

The guy who found this stated that the man's plane left hours prior.
^^5^^

Let's have a thought exercise: Imagine we finally contact an alien intelligence and ask the first question they ask us is about the guy who could walk on water and whatever happened to him.
^^6^^

 Oh, my.
You go girl.

The kid had never seen a TV like that and thought it was a microwave. But also, who doesn't have a small TV in their kitchen?
^^9^^

I have come to the conclusion that snow makes otherwise normal people go completely insane.
^^10^^

My wife does that. When people say that my wife has never met a stranger, it is absolutely true.
^^11^^

Just to be clear, don’t get your medical advice from porn stars.
One day soon anti-vaxxers are going to be charged with child endangerment. And this country will be better for it.

An esteemed colleague told me he hard-boils eggs in the morning, uses them as pocket warmers, and then has them as a little mid-morning snack when he gets to work.
Truly, the line between genius and madness is very thin.

 AIN'T NATURE GRAND

Baby shark takes a calculated risk for dinner.
One must wonder how many times one of them miscalculates and dies.
^^13^^

Entrance to Dead Marshes tunnels in Weeki Wachee Spring, Florida.
You can barely see the divers at the very bottom.
This next photo was taken roughly 4500 feet from the entrance at a depth of 250 feet.
And it's a whole complex of caves.
^^14^^

Hell, I would sit and watch them for hours.
^^15^^

I'm no mechanic, but...
^^16^^

Can we assume there was a fire in the background?
^^17^^

^^18^^

"Let's all stand on the EXACT SAME SOIL and watch it."
^^19^^

New evidence suggests Neanderthals used aspirin and penicillin.
Scientists extracted ancient DNA and bacteria from the hardened teeth plaque of five Neanderthal individuals from Belgium and Spain. This provided a treasure trove of information on what these guys ate and what made them sick.
^^20^^

See, physic principals are not hard to understand.
Hahahabannanaha!

So hopping on a bandwagon is bad but falling off the wagon is also bad. Which is it society? Where is the acceptable orientation relative to a wagon?

 PEOPLE MORE FAMOUS THAN ME

I so do want that to be true.

Black History Month Remembers The First Black Sheriff of the Town of Rockridge.

Looks like his cougar problems are far from over.

She did a great job in that movie.

“The mayor of Cremona, Italy, blocked traffic during five weeks of recording and asked residents to please keep quiet so master musicians could play four instruments — note by note — for posterity.”

Picking the exact shape for the wood you have must be exciting.

Sorry Mormons, but I don’t trust any religion that believes you can handle three wives while drinking zero beers.

 LAST LAUGHS

Did you know that veterans who ask for one can get a flag that flew over the capital building? The trick is that a flunky goes up there and raises and lowers flags all day so that technically they have all "flown over the capital building." I find that hilarious.
^^31^^

I have no idea what this means.
 ^^32^^

^^33^^

 Get it?
^^34^^

 ^^35^^

 ^^36^^

I almost missed this...
 ^^37^^

 ^^38^^

^^39^^

"Small vases"
 I have my doubts.

And even Grandma has some memories of such...

An outstanding share! I've just forwarded this onto a colleague who had been conducting a
little homework on this. And he actually ordered me dinner because
I discovered it for him... lol. So allow me to reword this....

Good day! Would you mind if I share your blog with my facebook group?

I have been surfing on-line greater than three hours these days, but I never discovered any interesting article like yours.
It's pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all webmasters
and bloggers made excellent content material as you did, the net will likely be much more helpful than ever before.

You should be a part of a contest for one of the finest websites on the internet.
