The statistics show that students with their own computers do better in school than students who do not. So my school district began handing out computers. But the logic was flawed.
Statistics also show that students who live in a home with an electric frying pan do better in school than students without. The thing both stats have in common is not the objects but the indicators of the affluence of the parents. And mostly, people with money are smarter than people without it...and their children are smarter.

I saw a movie where they danced around with the bride on their shoulders. It reminded me of the Lebanese wedding I attended where they did that only the brides head kept knocking out the ceiling tiles. I laughed aloud at the memory.

I don't really know what this means, but it reminded me of a story.

I once posted my recipe for spinach gorgonzola cream sauce to top a filet mignon. A viewer commented something like "Who puts a heavy cream sauce on a fine piece of meat like that?" I responded: "That would be the French, but what do they know of cooking."
