Americans believe that their opinions are equal to or superior to the fact-driven conclusions of experts who have studied pandemics all their lives. And I have come to accept there is no way to educate this out of them because they don't believe education is beneficial. It has been proven beyond any doubt with our refusal to wear masks. I have given up and plan on hunkering down for at least another year.

A simple fix for kneeling athletes:
