One Of My Very Own

If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that everything can be done naked.
Walgreens guy: You still need to leave.
THE GOOD
And this from my friend in South Africa:
"The vaccine thing should be educational and not politicized. Looking at the whole vaccine/mask/covid thing in the US I can only shake my head at the craziness, over here most people treat it like flu jab and I've yet to see someone lose their shit over a mask."
Bezos Bang Bus?
No wonder my parcels arrive banged up.
I've owned two of those convertibles - one blue and one dark red. I loved them.
But look who that is...
The Sunken City of Heracleion
I have always advocated making masks fun. I wish it had caught on and stayed.

250 kg German air bomb from World War II destroyed by SES pyrotechnics.
It looked like she had a shield design just for that purpose.

CEO: What’s the store layout?
Me: Sick people will walk to the very back for prescriptions.
CEO: Okay.
Me: Cigarettes will be right upfront.
CEO: First of all, I love it.
THE BAD
What will you do in this situation?
Get the hell away from that potential flash flood!
Lying used to result in never being trusted again. Not so much now. Now there seem to be no ramifications whatsoever.
Let's view the aftermath...
That is true and terrifying.
An afternoon in Paris, 1900
Remember this guy?
Damn, dude, leave some pussy for the rest of us.
Did you notice the giant crucifix? Class...pure class.

A4: that is not an Alfa Romeo. That is a Fiat spider 124.
I have one in my garage. Too bad we can't upload photos.

The Japanese are generally not obese and unhealthy either.
Dear A4 Anon, I never said it was an Alfa. I've owned two Fiat Spiders which I really liked.
No worries. My bad. I could have sworn you had a post on the blog about one that was always broken down. Something about the oil pan being too low hitting things.
A quick query through my database of your blog tells me the following:
Post #3126 on July 15th 2017 you mentioned owning a Fiat spider and trading it in for an Alfa. This is mentioned 4/5 of the way down the post.
Posts in which you mention owning an Alfa Romeo:

Post 1973 on March 3rd 2017 in the comment section where you reply to ninja grrrl.
November 27th 2010 in the about me section halfway down the post.
August 20th 2012 1/3 of the way down the post.
There are others.

That is pretty sick thing to exploit the death of someone just to make a stupid political point.
It's like when a Alberta was inflating the miniscule number of child deaths due to COVID with cases such as the 14 year old kid who died of stage 4 brain cancer that they attributed to COVID until the family called them to task.
It makes you how many more deaths were erroneously attributed to COVID but whose families were not aware.

Dear Alfa Guy, Yes. I did have an Alfa also. And you remembered correctly on the other facts.
Dear Second Alfa Guy, I showed a picture of a Fiat Spider and said I owned two of them. That has nothing to do with the Alfa I owned. Jeez.
Dear D'A, I understand exactly what point you were making so this is not a rebuff, but if I'm alive while having X disease and now I am dead after getting covid what do we do to determine the cause of death - perform an autopsy on everybody?
And if we are going to fudge the numbers I think we should fudge them in the direction that will prod more people to get vaccinated, not hide the numbers (Florida) to make your state look good (better).
