Dear Mike, Islam didn't deny my daughters control over their own bodies. Islam hasn't banned books in America. But just in case someone hasn't been paying attention, I find every invisible man controlling everything myth equally ridiculous.

@Mike Harris - All religion is bad in my opinion. But Islam is not trying to take over our government and control my way of life - Christianity is. I want to read the books I want to read. I want to have full control over my body. I want the democratic Republic of days not far ago. Our government qualifies as a high-risk for overthrow by our own definition. Any other government in the world would have seen the US intervene by now.
You mentioned Islam. The far-right republican Christians are beating down the down to let into the world what will be known as - "The American Taliban". Keep RELIGION out of government. It is poison.
Go back and look at the photos of Iranian students just a few decades ago. They looked just like us; they were free. What is happening here today is exactly what happened there.
