One Of My Very Own
PONDERABLES
This hit a cord with me.
I've decided to spend much more energy trying to make you smile. I preach too much and will work hard to make your visit to this blog a happier experience.
I found this very interesting.
My nephew was given the assignment to write down 25 facts about himself so I gave it a try. It is much harder than it sounds and took much longer than I had anticipated.
You might get it a try.
One of Sherlock Holmes' books explains that cocaine was the secret to his concentration.
Think about being able to capture a person's mood with paint.
It looks like this is this guy's first tasting of a perfect wine he created.
"Made with love" really means "I licked the spoon and kept using it".
Do you know what else really gets my goat? El Chupacabra.
GET LEARNT
That ice seems kinda thin.
The horse must have been nudged or something because they will not run over a person if they can help it...or so I'm told.
They said it cost only $30.
Wrench
Before spark arresters were installed, those things caused countless forest fires.
And setting itself on fire was not uncommon.
That looks utterly impregnable. You can't even get a siege machine near it.
But look at the entrance ramp.
It looks accessible to foot traffic only.
Crown Shyness fascinates me.
The trees do not touch. Crown shyness is a phenomenon in which the crowns of fully stocked trees do not touch each other, forming a canopy with channel-like gaps. The ‘dance-like’ beautiful phenomenon is most prevalent among trees of the same species.
---
And I read that it is NOT caused by abrasion of one limb rubbing the other. As I understand it, even trees grown indoors without any breeze at all will have the same shyness.
---
Then I wondered if the roots did the same thing and here's what I found:
Do you know if their roots are intertwined?
To explain that Nadkarni points to something called root grafting. It happens when tree roots rub against each other and physically fuse together. When this occurs, neighboring trees – even different species - share one big circulatory system.
---
Then I found this that seems to illustrate the whole concept.

And they practice stuff like that constantly. Watching Russia in Ukraine is what happens when you don't practice constantly.
I know I've mentioned it before, but I really like my room full of them.
Making new friends along the way...
Yes – but it does depend on the size and placement of the implants and the type of surgery you've had. If the incisions are under the fold of the breast or through your armpit, you should not have any problems breastfeeding.
I remember the month, day, and year I saw my first pair of rubber testicles hanging from a truck bumper.
Would you rather get a $1000 hooker or ten $100 hookers?
THE GAMES PEOPLE PLAY
Did you notice something incredibly odd about that clip?
I knew a girl who could scrape the paint off a No.2 pencil.
That really looks like fun but, sorry, all I can imagine is a guy driving onto an American football field with one and spraying the crowd.
Balloon Game
I am so thankful that my daughters went to school too late for nuclear bomb drills and too early for active shooter drills.
You can't believe it's not butter? The overwhelming percentage of objects in the universe are not butter.
FOR AMUSEMENT ONLY
*Some things are so good I want to show you more than once.
This reminds me of a movie prop.
Street Scene
I watched that a dozen times. Did you notice the bird?
Viagra
Why I love children.
I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed compiling it for you.
...as a two-decked dog.

One of my very own: I really like the photo of the bearded guy you've used several times now.
Is that you?
Dear OOMVO Anon, He's my nephew.

B17; corner kicks. I think 10% is a more accurate figure. In the study he must have restricted himself to too narrow a definition of 'from the corner kick'. Crowds know it isn't true; they always get excited at a corner and this is based on experience. George Best once scored direct from a corner. His manager Tommy Docherty called it a 'fluke', so the next gamme George did it again!
I went to a website for cities with 11 letters. I came across https://www.wordmom.com/11-letter-cities#:~:text=11%20letter%20cities%20that%20start%20with%20s%201,7%20santa%20marta%208%20santo%20tomas%20More%20items
In the age of Trump how many of these cities only have 10 letters? Ex: Addis Ababa, Saint Louis, San Antonio......
C10 only fbi background checked people can own something that high a caliber. https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2018/mar/12/john-faso/do-illegal-gun-owners-commit-most-gun-crime-rep-fa/
I grew up in a poor barrio in Tucson az, I've bought guns on the street. No one has ever had something like that available to hood rebels. It's handguns, AK47s and if you're lucky, a grenade or 2. Never a military grade weapon.

B13: Your'e pretty quick on the uptake. It’s called democracy. Your’e just not used to seeing it. Do you prefer it all happening behind closed doors where elected officials trade their and their voters principles for some spending bill earmarks. The holdouts are getting rule changes that allow the elected congressmen to better represent their constituents and provide for open debate. Recently, everything was decided by the president, the majority and minority leaders, powerful lobbyists and a bunch of unelected staffers. One may call them a cabal.
Dear B13 Anon, I would bet real money that if the Democrats took this long to elect a speaker then your take on it would be completely different.
