STACK-O-BOXES UPDATE
I have a habit of putting finished work within view for a few days and just letting my eye wander around it. I call it "Tweaking". Well, with this last box, my eye kept getting snagged on the crate in the corner.
So, finally, I bit the bullet and ripped it off, and added a much more sophisticated box.
I wanted it to look like a metal case and it being ultra-gloss helps with the illusion.
I used the old countersunk roofing nails to mimic rivets.
The only thing I had to buy for this whole project was the two clasps for this part. I spent $5 at Amazon and mounted them as directed. But visually they just didn't work. The gap drove me nuts.
So, I abutted the halves and am now satisfied.

I would much rather just give money to friends than risk their friendship and I've done it often.
It used to be that if you worked extra hard they gave you more money, but more often than not they now just give you more work.

Dear On The Mark Anon, May I ask for clarification? For instance, do you think the Founding Fathers meant for half the wealth in their country to be controlled by a dozen or so people? Do you think Trump is an asset or a danger to Democracy? Do you think gay people deserve the same respect as every other American? Do you think it's okay that The United States has such a thing as medical bankruptcy and the other industrialized nations do not? And lastly, do you think Donald Trump actually won the election? Maybe, just maybe, we agree on more than you think.

And because they have been politicized, I could have included climate change and vaccines. And the worth of having a highly educated citizenry. Or doing EVERYTHING possible to protect our children.
I like to ask guys how they like their trucks then tell them I'm considering getting one for my daughter when she turns 16. Absolutely brutal.

Castle shitter. BTW The castle was built before the end of the 12th century. After that keeps were round generally. This is because the Trebuchet arrived and siege warfare developed using artillery. When you lend people money rather consider it as a gift because you might never get it back. That said I will never "lend" you money again. Some people simply have no integrity/morals/principals/values etc.
I on the other won't be able to sleep knowing I owe you a few cents. About 4 weeks ago I only had cash on me at the liquor store and I was 40c in US$ terms short the lady at the till put in for me. I have not seen her since today and I've been carrying that coin with me every day hoping to see her. When I handed it to her she did not even remember what it was for. I'll sleep peacefully tonight.

Did you know that the Japanese Shinkansen (Bullet train) runs on a lot of viaducts and has no level crossings.
Also,
Over the Shinkansen's 50-plus-year history, carrying over 10 billion passengers, there has not been a single passenger fatality or injury on board due to derailments or collisions.

Hi Ralph, I enjoy your blog immensely. Well, all of it except for the liberal leaning politics and constant bashing of anyone who doesn't agree with you 100%. it seems as though you often state how you feel about your political views and how they are 180deg out of phase with what I call conservative or republican views. The truth is, no matter how loud you proclaim your allegiance to the left, and no matter how much I proclaim my tendency to lean to the right, I'm willing to bet that neither of us has ever changed anyone's mind. I can see a bit of TDS (TRUMP Derangement Syndrome)in your posts.. To be honest, you carry the water for the liberals and seem just as rabid as they are. No matter what evidence to the contrary is submitted. You're gonna feel the way you feel and, I for one, am not Into arguing on the internet. Every claim by the right could be scientifically prove to be factual and yet, you would still spew your oft repeated rhetoric. Of course, It's your site and you may do as you see fit.
