About Me

My photo
I'm an artist, educator, militant anti-theist , and I write. I gamble on just about anything. And I like beer...but I love my wife. This blog contains observations from a funny old man who gets pissed off every once in a while.

Time to share some cartoons...

There was an item on the news about a woman who called the police for help, and somehow ended up getting tased and arrested...but that's not the interesting part. They said that the officers were so upset at being challenged for their tactics that one of them "quit" and the other "resigned". Ummmmmm.

Very subtle that...

I came across a horror movie titled, "Attack of the Giant Shrews".

NOAH: "I got 99 problems, but a breach ain't one of them." What about two of every Mongoloid, Caucasoid, Australoid, Negroid and Capoid?
Not to mention that two of every insect species would have filled the damn boat.

Those zany Dutch... (I added that caption)

That zany Pasiphae... ________________________________________________
Zeus and Leda...
What I find hilarious about the last two is that in the past, people had absolute faith that those events were absolutely factual and those same people would kill you if you didn't agree with their insanity. See below...

One of my very own... ________________________________________________
I'm watching a show on the National Geographic Channel whose tag line reads: "Evidence reveals that the country already had millions of inhabitants before Europeans arrived".
Well, duh!
What I find interesting is that the Europeans are depicted as the bad guys, whereas the "inhabitants" who had fought..slaughtered...the previous inhabitants of that same fucking piece of land so that they could exploit it were given a free pass. The Inca, Maya, etc, etc, had fought, enslaved and sought genocide against the other tribes for...oh, EVER, but somehow they are the victims of the newcomers. Well, THIS TIME they were the victims. I say that if we had just left them alone, then some other "inhabitant" group would have just moved in to conquer , kill or enslave them.
So what's the point? People aren't very nice. Get over it.
