About Me

My photo
I'm an artist, an educator, Pastafarian and I write. I also will gamble on just about anything. And I like unusual juxtaposition, but I love my wife...and beer. This blog is observations from a funny old man who gets pissed off every once in a while. Oh, and I mispell alot.

KEY PACKET TUTORIAL

This is Lady Chablis.
You may remember her from that movie.
She wasn't even in the script, but while filming in Charleston the crew ran into her and knew she must be in the film.
Many people call her the most famous transvestite in South Carolina. My wife just called her a friend. She passed away yesterday.
-
Apparently, this is a thing now.

What exactly do you call the black colleges and universities we have dotting the landscape?
-

-
I wonder how many people would use this option?

Remember me mentioning that the similar arches in Trier, Germany were scared by rearview mirrors? That a look at these...

Speaking of stone...

Notice not the decorative trim stones but the plaza stones...the fan pattern.

And then there's this...

I don't understand exactly why so many places lay out stones in that pattern. It just seems to be a whole lot more work for not much payoff.
By the way, that movie was depressing, but good.

Then at the end it had this...

If that film showed anything it was that the persecuted turn into persecutors as soon as they gain power.

And...
Council to use forensic liquid to tackle theft of paving slabs.

The liquid is traceable...of course...

There was a video of this guy racing his bike. On a downhill run he did this and passed everyone else.

Oh, look, somebody else forgot to read the instruction manual...

That is stunningly amazing!

The new iphone comes with wired earbuds and an adapter so you can still use your old headphones. Why use 19thcentury tech today.

Oh no! RIP Lady Chablis. She was an artist indeed, and I'm so glad she had you and your wife as friends. And I'm glad for the rest of us, that we will always have a brief glimpse of what was so beautiful in her, of her T, in her performance on film.

Rollie Free set a land speed record in 1948 at the Bonneville salt flats on a Vincent motorcycle in the same riding position as the bicyclist. Only he was doing it at a much greater speed and only wearing swim trunks and a bathing cap!
