I HAVE QUESTIONS
We have all seen thousands of designs made of this sort of letters all over our towns, subways and trains.
My question is, do any of those artists have something to say. A voice, if you will?
Imagine how much more interesting the above would be if written in highly stylized, yet still legible, script.
This also could have communicated that powerful statement but still follow the principals of design used to judge all art.
A group of bleeding children would really strengthen this sentiment.

Latex is used to stop the glaze from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
Don't want glaze on the bottom because it will melt then stick the pot to the kiln shelf.
Why not wax? It just burns off in the kiln and no need for peeling off like that.
I used wax on all my pots. And if you find a glazed piece with little finger marks toward the bottom, that's why, and it's perfectly acceptable.

I was raised in the Church of Christ (far left) and this is exactly the way they see it.
The crux is that there was and is no central leadership. A small group (as little as 3 people) can meet and Sunday and call it a church.
