Isn't the difference between human DNA and chimpanzee DNA only about 1.5%? How can the astronaut's DNA change 7% and not be obvious, like a horse or something?

The Magnetar
Neutron stars are city-size stellar objects with a mass about 1.4 times that of the sun. They are born from the collapse of a large star and are so dense that a teaspoon full would weigh over a billion tons. That carries with it a lot of magnetism. How much? Well the earth carries 1 gauss of magnetism, our sun has a few hundred. A neutron star carries a whopping trillion-gauss magnetic field. You read that right.....trillion, with a T.
The magnetar is a neutron star with a magnetic field up to 1 quadrillion-gauss. That's 1000 trillion times more magnetic than the field you're sitting in right now. If a magnetar was to suddenly replace the sun right now, the magnetism would be so powerful it atomize you almost instantly.
