This is the real helicopter crash in 1986 that's in episode 2 of Chernobyl.

The Chernobyl disaster of 26 April 1986 occurred when one of the nuclear reactors at the Chernobyl power station in Ukraine (then part of the USSR) went into meltdown, causing an explosion. Helicopters were used to cover the reactor with sand, lead and boric acid. Later, a large sarcophagus structure was built to contain the reactor. This crash of a Mi-8 helicopter occurred on 2 October 1986 when the rotors clipped a crane cable. The pilot and four crew members were killed in the crash.

 Movies aren't real, but I'm watching one now about a guy who tries to kill himself but always fails. He is approached by a man who offers to assassinate him.
What struck me was a young man saying he is past help. He's too young to even know what help is. He has no idea what his options are. He hasn't even dipped a toe in what real life is about. Sad really. At my age, a teenager or twenty-something giving up and wanting to die is like a five-year-old wanting to die because they found out there was no Tooth Fairy or Santa Claus. All I ask is that you endure it until you can figure out what it's all about.
