What is there not to understand?

 Yes, you have the freedom to not wear a mask in the US. No government, federal or state, has mandated that anyone has to wear a mask at any time. HOWEVER, at the same time, private companies have the right to refuse you service if you don't follow their rules (such as wearing a mask in their store or on their property). Your right to swing your fist ends where my nose begins.
