How did we get that stupid?

Yup, dumb people ARE outbreeding smart people. The number of Millenials who think Socialism is great is a perfect example. Strange how folks are not leaving this country in droves to flock to such paradise areas as Venezuela, Cuba, Russia, China, North Korea, etc., etc. I just don't understand why Socialists want to just stay here instead of going to their nirvana.
Clinton didn't make us Socialist. Obama didn't make us Socialist. And you know, Gentle Read, that Joe Biden doesn't have a prayer of making America Socialist. Please stop with the Republican bullshit scare points.
I don't do scare points. I asked a straightforward question. Why don't Socialists leave and go to their ideal countries. Both my maternal grandparents lived under Stalin. If they were still alive today they could tell you, firsthand, the joys of living under Socialism/Communism. The first time I saw my grandmother dance was when the newspaper was delivered and had Stalin's picture on the front page saying he was dead. She spit on the paper, swore like I never heard her swear before, and did a dance around the kitchen.
If you think asking common-sense questions are making scare points, I'll just stop visiting so I won't be tempted. Bye.
I agree that socialism is a republican scare word but I argue that almost all Americans don't really know what it is. Maybe you could dedicate some of your posts to trying to educate the masses.
I would enjoy knowing more about it. And I think universal Healthcare is a good thing and if its socialism then fine.

I confess that I never lived in Russia. I made that up to make my argument strong.
I know even if Biden wanted to annex neighboring countries; nationalize all industries; send political enemies to concentration camp, and be leader for life he just doesn't have the power to do that.
I support Trump because I am a racist and with him in power I don't have to hide it anymore.
