I have had a premonition for most of my life that I would die in my 75th year. Today I turned 76. So much for premonitions.
Tell the cops nothing.
Tell the paramedics everything.
Batman would probably lose all his powers with one IRS audit.
READ ALL ABOUT IT

Hillary Clinton represented everything I hated in a politician. Trump represents everything I hate in a human being.

*That took me much too long. Dark that.
The universe is an ongoing explosion. That's where we live. In an explosion. And when an explosion explodes hard enough, dust wakes up and thinks about itself.
How is it that in all these millions of years the crocodiles never learned to chew?

She and I have at least one thing in common.
This always amazes me.
Then she asked for an eye of a newt.
It looked to me like at one point it lunged for her throat.
Watch carefully.
It was stated that he was being sought for kidnapping his own child.
But why wouldn't they shoot the tires or the radiator?
Yesterday I got a comment filled with outright lies concerning the covid vaccine. It took me about two minutes to disprove his assertions. But, of course, he would say Google is the one who is lying. I refused to post his comments and now he will accuse me of censorship. Stupid people bore me.

Jack Gleeson, who played King Joffrey on “Game of Thrones,” got married to girlfriend Róisín O’Mahony over the weekend in a small ceremony in Ireland.

I must admit that I have never seen someone eating a flan with this much enthusiasm...
There's another honeymoon joke in there someplace.
When we toured Europe one Summer my wife and I allowed ourselves one backpack. I took only one change of clothes (jeans and a denim shirt) but among other things, my wife took a dress just like that made of T-shirt material.

I think it's primarily for photo shoots.
I talked to a very bright young man who is on the science team for Voyager. He said that every byte of data received from the craft was new knowledge. And get this - even if nothing changes for a year then we now know that in that bit of space nothing happened for a year.
I have always liked these photoshops...

Happy Birthday Ralph
Many Happy Returns of the Day Ralph. Hope you have a splendid day, and MANY more to come Sir.
C9 Miracle Whip is not mayonnaise. In the South Dukes is mayonnaise. I once lived with a girl who though miracle whip was mayonnaise. She made me a sandwich with it and I said what the hell did you put on this? To which she answered, mayonnaise. This is what she was taught by here mother. I went out and got some mayonnaise and had her try it. She never bought miracle whip again.
Dear Crashsq, I agree. If you don't have Duke's you might as well put that bread away.

A1: I think you would agree that on average college graduates generally have a higher life time compensation. So to you its fair that half the nation of hard working non-college people and their offspring should pay for the education of the soon (if not now) privileged class. This doesn’t reconcile with your pro working little man support. I had ~10K college debt when I graduated in 1969. I paid it back over the next 10+ years. This transfer of debt will only lead to even higher college costs in the future and a more useless unproductive country.
Dear A1 Anon, Thank you for your comment. I agree with everything you say except the part about college students being in the privilaged class. But nowadays, instead of 10K, our children owe 10-50 times that much, and their pay isn't that much more than yours. I hate that ANYONE has to pay to keep our country competitive with the rest of the world so let's address the problem of the cost of higher education.
Other countries have dealt with this problem effectively and I am confident that the U.S. can also.
In such a discussion as this, it is unfair to change the subject but I am curious to know if you are equally incensed about your tax dollars going to bail out corporations or subsidizing oil companies, etc.

A1: Student Debt: Against my better judgement, I’ll give it a shot. You have some fuzzy math going on there. 10K x 50 = $500,000. Hmmm, I don’t think so.
“Among borrowers with outstanding student debt, the median debt amount in 2021 was between $20,000 and $24,999. In 2020, bachelor's degree earners from public and private nonprofit four-year schools who graduated with student debt had an average debt of $28,400.”
https://www.bestcolleges.com/research/average-student-loan-debt/
Total cost of student debt: I found numbers ranging between $469 billion to $605 billion.
As of October 2017, Oil Change International estimates United States fossil fuel exploration and production subsidies at $20.5 billion annually.
The data shows that the $18.4 billion of annual government allocation of energy-related tax preferences can be divided as:
- Renewable energy – 59%
- Fossil fuels – 25%
- Energy efficiency – 15%
- Nuclear energy – 1%
Remember Solyndra? Solyndra received a $535 million U.S. Department of Energy loan guarantee, the first recipient of a loan guarantee under President Barack Obama's economic stimulus program, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Solyndra went bankrupt because its costs were far too high, its only customers were paying for its panels at a discount.
No, I don’t support any of it.
So the left thinks a 7 year old can choose their gender but an 18 year old can’t understand their student loans.
Time is limited: so, at some point I’ll explain why college costs are so high (you won’t like it and I have my doubts that you will understand it).
Transferring the cost of student debt to those that receive no benefit from it only increases the ever growing lack of personal responsibility our culture is suffering. BTW: We all use energy so I guess we all receive at least some benefit from energy subsides. And no, I won’t benefit from some guy’s degree in Gender Studies.
What...no retort?
That's no fun. We both know I am just messaging you. No body goes back 3-4 days to read some troll's comments.
