What happened to equality under the law? Should I also get a longer prison sentence if I'm richer than you and we commit the same crime?

Dear B3 Anon,
What could be more equal than the fine being a percentage of your worth? I was once sentenced to $27 or 27 days in jail. Think about that for a minute. They would have taken away my freedom if I was poor. Does that sound like equality?
^^B6^^ I don't get it.
Dear B6 Anon,
