While cleaning out some old files I stumbled up on these and thought you might enjoy them.
Many years ago I taught at a school whose principal had one teacher use the bulletin board in the main hall to show the history of her/himself. Then my month rolled around, but I explained that I was in the middle of a divorce and couldn't lay my hands on any family pictures at this time, thank you very much.
She wouldn't let me off and insisted....insisted that I do my duty. I asked if I could do it my way and she said, "Of course."
Well, I only had a couple of pictures of myself, so I used the Xerox machine to enlarge and shrink the images, then picked random images out of magazines and such. A little cut and paste (by hand....with scissors) and these are some of the images that graced the bulletin board.
Then a state senator came in and complained that this caption was grammatically incorrect. I told him that "Ma, Pa and I" was not funny. He told me I was a bad example. I told him, "Thank you."
Somehow he missed this one....and no typo this.....
