Rep. Tulsi Gabbard just proposed a bill to end federal marijuana prohibition, removing it from the Controlled Substances Act and letting the states decide how to legalize it. Rep. Gabbard also has a second bill that will fund nonpartisan studies into marijuana use and provide real, concrete data on how Americans use the drug. 

Her bill is the only one of its kind to have Republican support, meaning it has the greatest likelihood of passing. Here's hoping.
