The Shrimp Farm

 This shrimp farm uses a recirculating aquaculture system to raise them in vertically stacked saltwater tanks.

The facility has had shrimp on site since Jan. 1 and expects to make its first harvest this month. The goal is to produce 2.5 million individual shrimp, or about 45,000 kilograms, per year.
