ART AND THE ARTY

I painted something like that. I used strips of triangular wood mounted to several sheets of plywood. I painted one image on the left face and another on the right. Same effect.

 Raku generally refers to a type of low-firing process that was inspired by traditional Japanese raku firing. Western-style raku usually involves removing pottery from the kiln while at bright red heat and placing it into containers with combustible materials.
I had most of a semester's work blow up in the kiln trying to do that. Raku takes a special blend of clay and I got it wrong.

BLOG FACTS: It seems like everywhere I visit on the internet they are using mp4s. Well my blog host, Blogger, does not allow mp4s. I can convert to gif but only if it is less than 3 megabytes and it takes three or four minutes. That may not sound like a long time until you realize I have to do it twenty or thirty or so time a day. Anyway, I am not happy with sending you back to another site to view images, but I know no way around it.

 College students are the biggest suckers.

Schwarzenegger's longtime stunt double Peter Kent on the set of Total Recall (1990) with the two animatronics for the final scene where they get shot out onto the surface of Mars. Kent has been his double in Twins, Total Recall, all the Terminator movies, Predator, Commando, and even for T2:3D (The Ride) at Universal Studios.
