The men of Hook & Ladder 118 were inside the Marriott World Trade Hotel evacuating people as the south tower collapsed. They did not survive. To this day, the 74 Middagh Firehouse has the duty roster of 118 with the names of its fallen crew, written in chalk 18 years ago on a lazy Tuesday morning.

This is another case of people fucking with other people just because they can. In South Carolina, every politician must knuckle under to the Christian vote. Another example is a state law that allowed beer and wine drinking on sidewalk cafes but forbids liquor drinks. Why? The Christians demanded it.
