About Me

My photo
I'm an artist, educator, militant anti-theist , and I write. I gamble on just about anything. And I like beer...but I love my wife. This blog contains observations from a funny old man who gets pissed off every once in a while.

NORMAL PEOPLE BEHAVING EXTRAORDINARILY

A man at gunpoint is cooler than I am any day.

"You had one fucking job, Harold!"
RH: Remember that extraordinary is not always positive.
^^A2^^

Let's take another look at that prisoner squeezing out of the food hatch then casually getting dressed.

I know, I know but who wouldn't want to see a man squeeze through a food hatch more than once?
^^A3^^

The moment you realize that magic time is over.
"HEY, HOME...HOME!!"

It's always better when it happens to a rich person.

Looks highly pinchable.

Interactive art

How wonderful.

Here's another more dramatic...

It's all the light...

But I hate that he signed it on the lady's clavicle.

 ^^B4^^

I wonder how many people will get this cosplay...
I love every movie that Peter Falk ever appeared in.
^^B5^^

Abandoned Wizard Of Oz theme park in North Carolina.

Is it art? Hell, I don't know but it didn't fit anywhere else.

China's Chang'e-4 lunar rover has discovered an unusually colored, 'gel-like' substance during its exploration activities on the far side of the moon.
The mission's rover, Yutu-2, stumbled on that surprise during lunar day 8. The discovery prompted scientists on the mission to postpone other driving plans for the rover, and instead focus its instruments on trying to figure out what the strange material is.

OBSERVATIONS AND OPTIONS

I have spent my entire life trying to not do that and just looking at that makes me uneasy.
^^D1^^

Big money political campaign contributions buy ads, but I don't think I've ever believed one single ad in the history of political ads.
^^D2^^

Stop being nice and do what you are expected to do when you are expected to do it. A confused driver is a dangerous driver.
^^D3^^

The agency said that’s the most cases in the country since 1992, with more than 75% of them occurring in the city and across New York state. The area’s biggest outbreaks have been concentrated in ultra-Orthodox Jewish communities in Brooklyn and Rockland County. Communities, where groups of people are not vaccinated, are the most susceptible, the CDC warned.

The one I like is "Voted #1 in initial quality." What does that even mean?
^^D5^^

I couldn't agree more. At least think about it.

I watched My Cousin Vinny again and marveled at this women's performance.

Why there's a long line in the bathroom...
Do people still do that shit? I thought we had all moved beyond that a long time ago.

A fancy juice bar shut down near my house, and I am terrified of what the next level of gentrification might be. A gastropub/crossbow range? A CBD eye drop salon? A private club for dogs who don’t believe in vaccines?

POSSIBLE SMILE INDUCERS

A real record-breaking performance.

I wonder how many people know what that is.

This is my extended family members when they announce that my nephew's tamales are ready.
I appreciate his efforts more than he can know. He nailed the last batch.

This design is spectacular! You obviously know how to keep a reader entertained.

Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost...HaHa!) Excellent job.
I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.
Too cool!
