 So in a regular nuclear reactor that little 14.5m^3 block of Uranium has 14% of the energy in the in the 1714m^3 block of oil. In a breeder reactor that U has 27 times as much energy....   there’s no technical reason we have to stay on fossil fuels. Nuclear and renewables can replace it all. What’s lacking is the political will.

It disappoints me that Chernobyl/Fukushima destroyed political will for nuclear but Deepwater Horizon didn’t even slow down oil at all.
