When you get as old as I am almost everything you see reminds you of something from your post. The books remind me of my friend who had a bookshelf as a headboard. He hustled a beautiful young stripper right off the stage, took her to his place, and she spent the night. The next morning when he woke up she was sitting up thumbing through a book and asked him, "Is this Plah-to a good writer?"

My friend just smiled and said, "Most of the western civilizations think so."

Impressive...or is it?

Here's another example...

It was stated that those drone over the mountains images were documentation of a factual event. That's cool. But nobody in their right mind would think that the boat and moon was documentation of a factual event. It was photoshopped. But why does that matter?

Well, I think the same disappointment would follow a "hand-carved" face or whatever that you learn was made with a 3-D printer. They may look the same but there's something about "real" that makes it better.

I'm still working on the rules of aesthetics as it applies to this. Give me some time.
