About Me

My photo
I'm an artist, educator, militant anti-theist , and I write. I gamble on just about anything. And I like beer...but I love my wife. This blog contains observations from a funny old man who gets pissed off every once in a while.

THE DEATH OF CHILDREN

It's not like we have to reinvent the wheel. Countries all over the world have shown us how to solve the problem.

And...

---

To repeat: I don't know what to do to stop this carnage BUT DO SOMETHING! If that doesn't work then do something else. But for the sake of our children at least try.

Here are some comments from some Republicans that ought to make you rethink your stance on this issue.

That is absolute proof that you can use the Bible to approve of ANY notion that pops into your head. Pure perfidy.

PONDERABLES

It's a pity that so many people were shamed into thinking masturbation was nasty. Not me. Hell, if I have a good wank it's the first thing I want to talk about when I get to the bar.

^^A1^^

Republicans in South Carolina have wholly eliminated absentee voting with ZERO (0) evidence that there was any fraud in the last election. That applies to everyone - even the infirmed who can't get out of the house.

And people wonder why I abandoned the Republican Party - because it abandoned me.

^^A2^^

^^A3^^

And remember there would be a trickle-up from higher wages because working people will spend almost all of their income locally.

^^A4^^

I have no answers to the problem but we should all admit there is a problem.

^^A5^^

The US seems to be a third-world country hiding in a trenchcoat disguised as a first-world country.

^^A6^^

*That is sort of how I feel about the people whom I welcome to my blog and all they do is bitch.

^^A7^^

By throwing it into the harbor, old chap.

---

Every citizen thinks their country is the best. My daughter spent a year in Japan and upon her return, she made this observation: The Japanese don't think they are the greatest people on Earth they KNOW that they are the greatest.

I have come to realize that there are good parts and bad parts about every country - including my own.

Going to bed at a decent hour

Pros: feel more energized

more productive during the day

generally happier

Cons: I apparently don't value any of those things

My wife once had to pause in the middle of a bondage session to view a knot tutorial online.

"No man can kill me!" She removed her hood, "I am no man!" She plunged her sword into his heart. It didn't kill him. He meant "man" as the collective mankind, not gender.

ACTIVE HUMANS

British Brimstone missile attack in Ukraine

Brimstone is a ground or air-launched ground attack missile. It was originally intended for "fire-and-forget" use against mass formations of enemy armor, using a millimeter-wave active radar homing seeker to ensure accuracy even against moving targets.

Experience in Afghanistan led to the addition of laser guidance in the dual-mode Brimstone missile, allowing a "spotter" to pick out specific and the highest priority targets.
*I think the fleeing spotter is being indicated in the top circle in the clip.

Watch as she pushes it...

I was once in a bar that had the condom machine in the women's bathroom wired to a siren and strobe lights in the bar.

Everyone else scatters! Could not ask for a better result everyone is safe while the hero does what they trained on!

AIN'T NATURE GRAND

There are 50,000 edible plant species on earth. Yet most of humanity lives off only 100. That's .2% of the potential. These are just the kiwis:

C7 - Most people imagine that a fire extinguisher is there to put out a fire. It is not. A fire extinguisher is meant to be a 'last resort' device to help you escape from a fire. If there is a fire near you, the sane thing is to get away from it as quickly as possible. It spreads faster than you think. In the clip above, the hero would have been in trouble if the tank had exploded. Life is more important that property.

Incidentally, I was employed as a Health and Safety Manager, and saved the firm in question more money than they paid me, via lower insurance costs, and reduced accidents.

PUZZLE TIME. The code is 394.

The second line tells us that 2 cannot be a part of the code. If it were this would contradict Line One, where one number is correct and in the wrong place, 2 does not change place and so cannot be the correct number.

Line two also tells us that 4 must be a part of the code, but not in the middle position. This is because line four tells us that 5, 7 and 8 are no part of the code, and we have already eliminated 2.

Line three tells us that 4 must be in the last position of the code, since we know it must be one of the two correct numbers, and it once again is in the wrong position, (first on line three).

Line five tells us that 6 cannot be a part of the code. This is because on line three , two of the numbers are correct but in the wrong place, and 6 is in the same place as on line three.

This then tells us that 3 is the other digit that must be correct on line three.

As 5 has already been eliminated, and 6 is also eliminated, then 9 remains as the final number in the code.

This means that 9 must be the correct number that is in the correct place on line one, (middle position).

3 must therefore be the first placed number in the code, which is therefore:

3 9 4
