I think the reason there are a plethora of shots of lightning striking things is that phones are used to film a scene and when and if lightning does strike they just pull up the most dramatic frame.

I've shown you this before but I just noticed something. There are no handles on the saw. Also, it looks like two saws were welded together in the middle. I've always wondered if they had any kind of lubrication to make the blade slide more easily.
