I once lived in a small town and my phone number was one digit off from the movie theater. To make matters worse my number was like 2282 and the theater's was 2822 so that the errant caller would make the exact same mistake again even after I informed them of their error. So, it saved everyone a lot of time for me just to have the movie listings beside the phone and give them the information they desired.
I know a guy who applied for a job at a multinational company and the head of his department asked him what he expected to be doing in 5 years. The guy said he would be sitting in the department head's chair and it wouldn't take 5 years. And he did exactly that.

There's no road, you drive on the beach. That's the Namib desert next to the Atlantic ocean.
