About Me

My photo
I'm an artist, educator, militant anti-theist , and I write. I gamble on just about anything. And I like beer...but I love my wife. This blog contains observations from a funny old man who gets pissed off every once in a while.

MONDAY'S SILLINESS #2926

One Of My Very Own...

There is and hasn't been a hate like this man caused.

Seriously, you only think you hate Obama or Trump. That man was the do all and be all of everything America should not be. It even changed the way normal people pronounced his name. There was a curl of the lip thing everyone used when saying Nixon...the same as saying dog shit.

Nice work, Santa.

Am I the only guy who thinks about these people every single day?

A superpower is chipping away at their country day after day and...nobody seems to care.

My youngest daughter's Christmas present to me.

She knows me pretty well.

I have mentioned, but you probably don't remember the 33 pool.

Each year I pay $40 and someone picks me a team out of a hat. This year I was assigned Atlanta. If my team scores exactly 33 points I win a lot of money. This week I won.
---

I would posit that being called "deplorables" CAUSED her defeat. The Democrats don't have a clue.

Premiering 2017. They never saw him coming. Sean Penn is The Retard Pope.
(I have no idea what that means, I just thought it was a cool thing to think about.)

SILLINESSES

Several of these type images where people invite roasting by the internet.

It started early...

Boobie grabber!... no, no, wait never mind...

You have to swear not to tell a soul...

Creepy before photo. Just hours after this was taken he died following an accidental gunshot to the face. RIP Marvin (1967-1994)

At a very crowded seafood restaurant at the beach I once registered my party of twelve with the name Beelzebub. You don't always have to play it straight.

The beauty of this machine is that it can use any tip pen.

Parts of the Yellowstone region are wilder now than they’ve been in a century. Grizzlies are spreading. This one, in Grand Teton National Park, fends off ravens from a bison carcass.

This system is not sustainable. We simply can't keep getting dumber as the rest of the world is getting smarter. But in a country where 40% of the people don't believe in evolution, we get what we deserve.

We live in a blue world, and obviously so. You would infer from that, that ancient civilizations would have had something to say about it... but historical records have proven otherwise. The Color Blue is never mentioned in any historical records, by any civilization up until a few hundred years ago. The reason why has still not been found.

Sky blue, sea blue, marine blue, true blue… blue as a color, and as a metaphor, seems to be all around us. Feeling low? You’ve got the blues? We live on the Blue Planet. So why is it that research has shown that many ancient languages have no word for the color blue? Can it really be, as some studies are suggesting, that ancient cultures didn’t have a word for blue because they didn’t really see it?

Look into Satan's butthole. See the souls being sucked back in to eternal torment by the cavernous void of humanity.

This actually look like bodies being sucked in.

In the remote Afar depression in northern Ethiopia, the African Continent is slowly splitting apart and a new ocean is forming. Normally geological processes such as the formation of rivers, seas and mountains is a painfully slow process, but in the Afar Triangle near the Horn of Africa, this is happening at a staggering rate.

In 2005, an eruption at the Dabbahu volcano followed by a period of intense seismic activity started a crack on the earth’s crust that rapidly propagated south like a zipper opening. The fissure was 60 km long and 8 meters wide, while the ground between them sank by 2 meter. All this happened in a matter of days. Over the course of the next few months, hundreds of crevices were seen splitting in the desert floor and the ground slumped by as much as 100 meters. At the same time, scientists observed magma rising from deep below as it began to form what will eventually become a basalt ocean floor.

Yeah, I know...oh, do I know, but I didn't know that when I posted the blog. So I have to split my winnings by a third. Bummer.
But seriously, did you think I didn't know that?
